Meet Kemella Sillah, MSN, FNP-BC: CEO & Founder,
Veritas Healthcare PLLC
Kemella Sillah is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and entrepreneur with over a decade of clinical experience. Serving patients since 2011, she is known for her patient-centered, outcomes-driven approach.
She holds degrees from Georgetown University, Temple University, and California State University, Northridge, and served in the United States Army as a 66P Family Nurse Practitioner (Captain, O-3). In 2025, she received the EFDI Humanitarian Award for her community impact and service.
In 2026, she founded Veritas Healthcare PLLC in Lake Havasu, Arizona — a modern primary care and integrative practice built on transparency, compassion, and evidence-based care. Her background in correctional medicine, rural health, occupational medicine, emergency care, and military service shaped her resilience and leadership.
At Veritas, she integrates traditional and preventive medicine with holistic approaches, offering primary care, chronic disease management, occupational health, and medical weight services.
For Kemella, entrepreneurship is not just business — it is purpose. Her mission is simple: to create a clinic where patients feel seen, heard, and treated with dignity.
Meet Deirdre Mazzetto, MSN, AGACNP-BC
Deirdre Mazzetto, MSN, AGACNP-BC is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of healthcare experience. She began her medical career in 1999 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, gaining valuable bedside experience before advancing her education and professional training.
She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs in 2002, beginning her career as a Registered Nurse. Over the years, she developed extensive experience across multiple specialties including cardiac nursing, surgical recovery, trauma care, oncology, and medical-surgical nursing.
Committed to advancing her clinical expertise, Ms. Mazzetto completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Sonoma State University in 2010 and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018, where she trained as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC).
As a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Mazzetto has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including urgent care, urology, gastroenterology, primary care, and occupational medicine. Her clinical work includes comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and coordinating multidisciplinary patient care.
Her Registered Nurse background includes experience at Renown Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center, where she cared for surgical patients across specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and trauma. She also served as a Telemetry RN at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, providing advanced cardiac monitoring and step-down patient care.
Ms. Mazzetto has worked as a Nurse Practitioner with MD STAT Urgent Care, Merced Urology, Modesto Gastroenterology/Sylvan Surgery Center, and Valley Springs Health and Wellness Center, providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.
She currently practices as a Nurse Practitioner in Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care with Concentra, where she evaluates and treats workplace injuries, performs occupational health assessments, and manages urgent medical conditions.
Known for her leadership, patient advocacy, and attention to detail, Ms. Mazzetto is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. She resides in Valley Springs, California, and is proud to serve residents throughout Calaveras County and the Central Valley.
